Common questions about Hermes IMS

What is Hermes IMS?

Hermes IMS is inventory and profit tracking software for resellers, flippers, and repair shops. It records what you paid for each item, the parts and repairs you put into it, and the fees, shipping, and sale price, then shows the real profit on every item and across your whole business.

Does Hermes IMS work with eBay?

Yes. Connect your eBay account and Hermes brings in your listings and sales automatically, with eBay's actual fees, shipping label costs, ad fees, and refunds. It only reads from eBay; it can't list, change, or end anything there.

Can I track sales on Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, or in person?

Yes. Record a sale on any platform, and Hermes works out the fees from that platform's fee rate. Facebook Marketplace and local cash sales are set up for you, and you can add any other marketplace with its own fees.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan lets you add 25 items a month at no cost, with no card needed. Paid plans start at $7 a month for more items, and items you already have never count against your limit.

Can I import my existing spreadsheet?

Yes. Upload an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file, check the preview, and import up to 2,000 items at a time. A template with the right columns is included, and Hermes matches common column names for you.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Hermes works in your phone's browser and can be added to your home screen so it opens like an app. You can add items, take photos with your camera, and record sales on the go.
